Premium wearable products are becoming lighter, more complex and more design-driven. For brands and manufacturers, this creates new requirements in metal part design, precision forming, lightweight structures and scalable production.
In collaboration with CN Innovation, we developed and produced two premium metal 3D-printed titanium alloy watches, Aurion そして Lunelle, using the HBD 400 metal 3D printing system.
Aurion features a bold lattice structure and deep blue bezel, combining industrial aesthetics with a strong metallic profile. Lunelle integrates a curved case, openwork strap and wave-textured dial with rose-gold details, presenting a lighter and more refined metal appearance.
Through metal additive manufacturing, the two watches achieve high-precision forming of refined textures, openwork details and integrated lattice structures. Combined with topology-optimized design and the material advantages of titanium alloy, they balance strength, lightweight performance and on-wrist comfort within a compact structure.
Powered by the HBD 400 Metal 3D Printing System
Produced with the HBD 400, Aurion and Lunelle showcase the system’s capabilities in stable forming, fine-detail reproduction and complex metal component production.
For premium wearable applications, the HBD 400 supports:
- Micron-level precision for intricate textures and openwork details
- Greater design freedom for complex metal geometries
- Topology-optimized titanium alloy design for strength, lightweight performance and on-wrist comfort
- Integrated forming of complex metal structures
- Flexible support for prototyping, customization and batch production
- Beyond Watches: Applications for Premium Consumer Products
The development of Aurion and Lunelle highlights the growing potential of metal 3D printing in premium consumer and wearable applications.
Beyond watches, the same capabilities can be applied to jewelry and accessories, smartwatch bezels, smartphone frames, headphone structures and next-generation wearable devices. In consumer electronics, they can support compact metal components that require stronger structures, higher integration and faster product iteration.
With metal 3D printing equipment and application solutions, HBD helps brands and manufacturers overcome the challenges of complex geometry, lightweight design and precision metal forming for next-generation premium wearables and high-end consumer products.
