(Summary description)The 9th Shanghai "Starlight Project" Skills Competition for Vocational Colleges (hereinafter referred to as: the competition) is sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, the Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Shanghai Education Development Foundation, and the Shanghai Private Education Development Foundation. It is undertaken by the Teaching and Research Office of the Shanghai Education Commission, the Education Technology Equipment Center of the Shanghai Education Commission, the Shanghai Vocational Skills Appraisal Center, and the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum.

Sponsored by HBD, supported by the Yangtze River Delta Additive Manufacturing Industry Education Alliance, Shanghai Additive Manufacturing Innovation Center, and Shanghai Advanced Technical School, the opening ceremony of the intensive training for the secondary vocational group metal additive manufacturing competition was organized the opening ceremony On April 25, 2021 was successfully held at Shanghai HBD! Mr. Wu Chentao, Secretary General of the Yangtze River Delta Additive Manufacturing Industry and Education Alliance, Director of the Shanghai Additive Manufacturing Innovation Center, Ms. Mao Yi, General Manager of HBD, and distinguished professors from various secondary vocational schools such as Shanghai Advanced Technical School Representatives attended the opening ceremony. Director Wu said: "Additive manufacturing is an indispensable type of technology in the future. I hope that the competition will enable more schools and teachers to pay attention to additive manufacturing technology and provide more professionals for the economic development of the additive manufacturing industry.
