Changzhou CISRI G-Light Additive Manufacturing Co., Ltd. established in 2021, focuses on the additive manufacturing of aerospace and high-end civil alloy parts, and integrates the superior resources of the parent company-China Iron & Steel Research Institute Group to provide customers with total solution for product design, new material development, process optimization, hot isostatic pressing and heat treatment, parts processing, and finished product inspection.

Mr. Bi Zhongnan, Chairman of CISRI G-Light, introduced the establishment process and the current achievements of CISRI G-Light. The team started to plan for the additive project in September 2020, and has completed the project and put it into production in just half year. At present, a more-than-20 professional technical team has been built, and the whole process of metal additive manufacturing has been established. From mother alloy to metal powder, metal additive manufacturing equipment, additive manufacturing products and processes, post-processing and analytical testing. CISRI G-Light's main business covers material development and high-quality product production, and is committed to building an ecosystem of additive manufacturing.

CISRI G-Light has invested a total of 1 billion RMB and plans to complete all three phases of construction by 2024. By 2025, installed quantity of metal 3D printing equipment will reach 150-200 units, and mass production of key products will be completed. When talking about the domestic metal additive manufacturing capabilities, Chairman Bi Zhongnan specifically mentioned HBD's unique LACM, Laser Additive and Cutting Manufacturing Technology. HBD's laser additive micro-cutting hybrid manufacturing technology can print thin-walled parts, improve the surface finish, and meet the preparation requirements of different products such as precision molds, precision inner cavity terminal parts, and microstructure parts.
After the launching ceremony, the guests were invited to visit the exhibition hall and production plant. During the introduction, the staff said that with the ability to form complex structures and high precision, metal 3D printing has shown a huge advantage unmatched by traditional industrial manufacturing in various high-end manufacturing fields such as aerospace, medical and health, and automobile transportation. The scene in the production plant surprised all guests. In just a few months, CISRI G-Light has completed the installation of 16 medium and large metal 3D printers, including HBD-400 and HBD-500, HBD-1000, and has started busy printing operations.
